aumico is a Swiss software platform for annual financial statements. You manage mandates and closing tasks, carry out the closing process in a structured way, and generate the annual financial statement. Everything in one place, regardless of the accounting software you otherwise use.
Who is aumico designed for?
For fiduciary firms that prepare annual financial statements for their clients. Also for SMEs and foundations that prepare their own annual financial statements.
Does aumico replace my accounting software?
No. aumico builds on your existing accounting system. You continue to record your entries where you do today and simply import the trial balance into aumico for the closing process.
What does the annual financial statement from aumico include?
Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, notes, and appropriation of profit. Plus the statement of changes in equity and the fixed asset schedule. You can customize the layout, fonts, and colors to match your corporate design.
Which accounting standards does aumico support?
Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and HGB. Additionally, you can build any custom reporting structure you need.
Data and Integrations
Which accounting systems can I import data from?
From bexio, Abacus, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Topal, Infoniqa, DATEV, Proffix, and Xero. Furthermore, from any system that can export a trial balance to Excel.
How does data get into aumico?
Via an API interface or Excel. The available method depends on the system.
Can I import figures from previous years?
Yes. If the data is available, you can compare a client's figures over several years in the Analytics tab.
What happens to my data if I leave aumico?
Your data will be retained; it will not be automatically deleted. Your account and all documents will remain accessible, and you can export them as PDF, Excel, or Word files at any time. After the contract ends, you will simply no longer be able to create new financial statements. Data will be deleted only upon your express request.
Security and Data Privacy
Where is my data stored?
Data for Swiss companies is stored in Zurich, and data for German companies in Frankfurt. Your data never leaves its respective economic area.
How secure is aumico?
aumico is ISO 27001 certified. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. You can view the current status of our security measures at any time in our Trust Center.
Does aumico use my data to train AI models?
No. We do not share or sell your data, nor do we use it to train public AI models.
Is aumico GDPR compliant?
Yes. We regulate the details of data processing in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Who has access to my clients' data?
Only the accounting firm managing the client account. aumico employees do not access your data independently. If you need assistance, we can connect to your screen via TeamViewer for support; you initiate the session and can follow every step.
Getting Started and Support
How long does it take to get started?
There is no installation required. Simply sign up, import your data, and you can have your first annual financial statement set up in about 30 minutes.
Is there training available?
Training is available as an optional add-on. You don't need it to get started.

Can I test aumico before I decide?
Yes. You can test aumico for 10 days free of charge. If you would prefer a guided start, book an appointment and we will show you how aumico works using your own figures.
Pricing and Contract
How does the pricing model work?
You need one license per client. Billing is based on usage, not the number of employees. The number of people on your team working with aumico does not affect the price.
Is there a minimum contract period?
The license term is 12 months and automatically renews for another 12 months. You can cancel up to 30 days before the end of the term, either in writing or by email. We will send you an email reminder about the upcoming renewal before each cancellation deadline.
Does my client need their own access?
No. aumico is designed for you and your team. The license is per client, not per user, and covers the processing of that specific client's account. Your client does not need access or training.
Can I customize the layout of the annual financial statement to match my corporate design?
Adjust fonts, colors, and layout to ensure the annual financial statement matches your brand identity. You can even customize the appearance individually for each client.
